Sukari is Egypt's largest gold mine and one of the largest in Africa, operated by Centamin (part of AngloGold Ashanti) in the Eastern Desert near Marsa Alam. It's a large-scale open-pit + underground operation with a full processing plant on-site — hiring across mining engineering, geology, processing and metallurgy, maintenance (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation), HSE, remote-site supply chain, and site finance and administration. Sukari runs on a fly-in / fly-out (FIFO) roster: employees live at the on-site camp during their shift block and fly home on their off-block, with housing, meals, and transport covered so base salary lands as take-home.
