Listed on the Milan Stock Exchange, it is present in more than 50 countries around the world and employs about 30,000 people of over 130 nationalities.About The RoleThe Treasurer is responsible for safeguarding the organization’s financial health by managing liquidity, optimizing capital structure, and mitigating financial risks. This role oversees all foreign exchange (FX) and hedging strategies in strict accordance with IAS/IFRS standards to protect the Group’s bottom line from market volatility.ResponsibilitiesDefine hedging strategies: Monitor and coordinate hedging activities across Saipem in accordance with the IAS control model; develop comprehensive management reporting on Group exposures.Ensure branch remittances: Oversee the timely transfer of funds to international branches.Manage payroll disbursements: Guarantee the accurate and timely payment of salaries.Execute financial settlements: Settle foreign exchange (FX) transactions, derivative contracts, and other financial operations.Oversee cash management: Manage current accounts and ensure optimal efficiency in cash positioning and financial conditions.Optimize financial systems: Promote and implement digital solutions to streamline financial and accounting processes, enhancing efficiency, security, and system integration.Maintain compliance: Execute all administrative and accounting activities related to the above operations in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with domestic and international accounting standards (IFRS/IAS).QualificationsEducation: Accounting Diploma or Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Accounting or relevantBackground: Minimum 2 years of experienceLanguages: Good knowledge of spoken and written English, Knowledge of French will be a plus.Technical Knowledge: Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (especially MS Excel), SAP is a plusRequired SkillsAccuracy and analytical thinkingProactivity and willingness to grow in an international and diverse environmentCorporate BenefitsOur One Saipem Way soft skills model leverages on skills development, career growth, opportunities to innovate through complex challenges by promoting communication and collaboration to achieve common goals.
