Listed on the Milan Stock Exchange, it is present in more than 50 countries around the world and employs about 30,000 people of over 130 nationalities.Purpose Of The PositionCarry out all the activities necessary to purchase goods and/or services/subcontracts, in compliance with given cost/time/quality requirements and with Corporate/Company policies and standards and work instructionsJob Roles And ResponsibilitiesRFQ Management: Independently issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs) to vendors based on approved purchasing requisitions.Vendor Support & Confidentiality: Act as the primary point of contact for vendors during proposal preparation, providing technical and commercial guidance while maintaining strict bid confidentiality.Bid Evaluation: Prepare comprehensive commercial and economic bid tabulations to compare proposals,recommending strategic actions to optimize results or finalize vendor selection.Commercial Negotiation: Lead economic and commercial negotiations to ensure the best value and terms for the company.Contracting & Terms: Draft purchase orders and subcontracts based on General Purchase Terms and Conditions (GTC) and Project Special Conditions, while effectively managing and resolving any deviations.Award & Close-out: Finalize the bidding process by securing order confirmations from selected vendors and professionally notifying unsuccessful bidders of the outcome.Post-Award Management: Proactively follow up on orders and negotiate necessary revisions or amendments to subcontracts and purchase orders and support the post order team if needed.Process Compliance: Execute all procurement activities in strict alignment with corporate procedures, utilizin designated systems and digital tools.Technical Review: Review and provide feedback on technical documentation received within Purchase Requisitions and Technical Evaluations to ensure alignment with commercial goals.Records Management: Manage and organize all contractual documentation and archives prior to their transfer to the centralized company archiveWhat are we looking for?Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or any related field.Background: 5-7 Years of Experience.Languages: Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English.Technical Knowledge: : Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (especially MS Excel), SAP is a plusRequired skills: Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.Good communication and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.Additional InformationWe embrace diversity!
