Join a dynamic and passionate team dedicated to creating lasting impressions and driving results.Role DescriptionThe Account Director is the senior owner of client relationships and account operations at Fornax — the main point of confidence for clients, the leader of the Account Management team, and the person accountable for keeping every account running smoothly across communication, delivery, and quality, while supporting the agency’s growth.PositionManages: Account Managers.Collaborates with: Marketing/Strategy, Social Media, Creative & Design, Production, Media Buying & Performance.Owns directly: A portfolio of key accounts, alongside overseeing the wider roster through the team.Experience & Background5–7 years in account management at a 360°, creative, or production agency, including 1–2 years at Senior AM or AD level.Proven end-to-end ownership of key accounts — accountable for retention, satisfaction, and delivery.Experience managing a portfolio across creative, design, production, social, and media.Direct experience leading and developing an account team (real line management).Real estate, FMCG, banking, automotive, or retail exposure is a plus.Commercial & StrategicStrong grasp of scopes, budgets, profitability, and organic account growth.Translates client objectives into clear internal direction.Contributes credibly to pitches, proposals, and quotations.Literate in media buying and performance enough to hold the conversation (not to run it).Leadership & Account ManagementSets service standards and coaches the team to them.Handles high-stakes situations and difficult clients calmly to resolution.Strong cross-functional collaborator who removes bottlenecks.Communication & LanguageFully bilingual — polished English and fluent Arabic, written and spoken.Confident leading senior client meetings and reviews.Clear, client-ready writing (emails, MoMs, briefs, proposals).EducationBachelor's in Marketing, Communication, Business, or related; MBA a plus.ToolsComfortable with account/project management tools and standard agency workflows.PreferredGCC market exposure and production-side understanding.
