To request an accommodation, please contact a member of the Ceva Talent Acquisition team.Your MissionsWe are seeking a highly disciplined and control-oriented Accounting Manager to lead our accounting operations in Egypt.This role is responsible for ensuring financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and strong internal controls in alignment with corporate policies and Egyptian statutory requirements. The Accounting Manager will act as the custodian of the company’s financial records, ensuring full compliance with IFRS, local tax regulations, and Egyptian Tax Authority (ETA) requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting & ClosingLead and control monthly and annual closing processes in accordance with IFRS and corporate reporting timelines.Ensure accuracy and completeness of journal entries, accruals, provisions, and balance sheet reconciliations.Maintain a clean and fully supported general ledger.Ensure timely submission of reporting packages to global headquarters.Internal Controls & GovernanceImplement and monitor strong internal control frameworks in line with corporate policies.Ensure compliance with Delegation of Authority (DoA) and segregation of duties.Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for all financial transactions.Ensure continuous audit readiness and timely closure of audit findings.Tax & Regulatory ComplianceEnsure accurate and timely submission of: VAT returns Withholding Tax (WHT) filings Corporate income tax Payroll tax & social insurance obligationsOversee full compliance with the Egyptian Tax Authority (ETA) regulations.Ensure proper monitoring of: ETA e-invoicing system Electronic tax submission platformsAct as the primary liaison with tax advisors, external auditors, and governmental authorities.Transactional Oversight (AP, AR & Treasury Control)Supervise Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable from a compliance and accuracy standpoint.Ensure proper authorization and documentation of payments and collections.Review credit notes, rebates, write-offs, and provisions for adequacy and supporting documentation.Ensure proper reconciliation of bank accounts and treasury transactions.Risk Management & Asset ProtectionIdentify financial and compliance risks and implement preventive control measures.Monitor unusual or high-risk transactions.Ensure proper controls over fixed assets, inventory accounting, and provisions.Promote a strong compliance culture across the finance team.Team LeadershipLead and develop the accounting team.Ensure adherence to corporate standards and local regulatory requirements.Drive continuous improvement in accounting processes and controls.Your ProfileBachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.+8 years of progressive accounting experience, including team supervision.Prior experience in external audit (Big 4 or reputable audit firm) is highly preferred.Strong knowledge of IFRS and Egyptian tax regulations.Hands-on experience with ETA e-invoicing and electronic tax platforms is essential.Strong ERP exposure (Oracle preferred).Advanced Excel skills.
