Job Purpose:To manage, organize, and oversee all financial and accounting operations of the company, ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of financial reports and statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards, laws, and internal policies, in order to support strategic decision-making and enhance financial performance.Key Responsibilities:1. Accounting OperationsOversee daily accounting activities and ensure accurate recording of transactions.Review journal entries, reconciliations, and closing activities.Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and policies.2. Financial ReportingPrepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Ensure timely and accurate reporting to senior management.Analyze financial results and provide insights and recommendations.3. Cash Flow & Treasury CoordinationMonitor cash flow, treasury activities, and liquidity position.Coordinate with the finance/treasury function to ensure adequate funding.Oversee payments, collections, and cash management processes.4. Compliance & AuditCoordinate with external auditors and support audit processes.Review tax filings and ensure compliance with tax regulations.Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring proper internal controls.Submit the Nassery report to the ASA - Accountability State Authority.5. Policies & Process ImprovementDevelop, implement, and update accounting policies and procedures.Drive process improvements and support digital transformation initiatives.Ensure adherence to internal controls and governance frameworks.6. Team LeadershipLead, mentor, and manage the accounting team.Allocate tasks, monitor performance, and provide ongoing support.Conduct performance evaluations and identify training needs.7. Stakeholder CoordinationCollaborate with internal departments to support financial operations.Liaise with regulatory authorities, auditors, and legal advisors when required.  Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; a master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is highly advantageous.A minimum of 15-20 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, in a managerial capacity.Proven proficiency in Accounting, Financial Management, Budgeting, Financial Reporting, and Forecasting.Demonstrated experience in Strategic Planning, Risk Management, and Cash Flow Management.Exceptional skills in Team Leadership, fostering development and driving performance.Strong understanding and experience with financial Compliance and regulatory frameworks Specially with ASA - Accountability State Authority.Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP Systems.
