Job Purpose:To manage the company’s accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, budget preparation, cost control, and compliance with tax regulations. The role requires strong experience in the construction field, specifically MEP projects.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with the legal accountant to prepare budgets and financial statements for taxation purposes.Manage the General Ledger and daily accounting entries under the supervision of company accountants.Compile, analyze, and interpret financial transactions to prepare accurate accounting entries.Oversee cost centers for all projects, ensuring proper allocation and tracking.Work with the legal accountant to prepare budgets by collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data and extracts.Prepare monthly internal reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and real-time trends for all company divisions (Contracting, Sales/Trading, Bank facilities).Oversee all matters related to the General Ledger, data entry, accounting records, and the month-end close process in coordination with company and legal accountants.Implement and assist with the installation, modification, documentation, and coordination of new accounting software systems.Ensure the company’s profitability, liquidity, and solvency at all times. Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Accounting).10–15 years of accounting experience, exclusively in construction companies (MEP experience preferred).Strong knowledge of construction accounting, project costing, and subcontractor management.Proven experience managing accounting teams.Proficiency in accounting software and odoo systems.Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
