Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting & CloseManage the full month-end and year-end closing process for the Egypt entitPrepare accurate monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) in accordance with Egyptian Accounting Standards (EAS) and Group IFRS requirementsConsolidate and submit financial reports to Group HQ (Thailand) on timeMaintain the integrity of the general ledger and chart of accountsTax & Regulatory ComplianceEnsure timely and accurate filing of all Egyptian tax obligations: corporate income tax, VAT, withholding tax, and payroll taxLiaise with the Egyptian Tax Authority (ETA) and external auditorsMonitor changes in local tax law and advise management on compliance implicationsSupport transfer pricing documentation for intercompany transactions with Group HQ and the Factory subsidiary (if requiredIntercompany & TreasuryManage intercompany billing, reconciliation, and settlement with Group entitiesMonitor foreign currency (USD/EGP) exposure and support FX risk.Oversee cash flow forecasting and working capital management for the Egypt entityManage relationships with local banks and ensure compliance with CBE (Central Bank of Egypt) regulationsInternal Controls & OperationsDesign and enforce internal control policies and proceduresOversee accounts payable and accounts receivableCoordinate with the Group ERP/accounting system and ensure data accuracyLead, mentor, and develop the local accounting teaBudgeting & AnalysisLead the annual budget preparation and quarterly re-forecast for the Egypt subsidiaryProvide variance analysis (budget vs. actual) and highlight key business driversSupport Group HQ with ad-hoc financial analysis and management reporting QualificationsPreferredBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldMinimum 7 years of accounting experience, including 3+ years in a managerial roleDeep knowledge of Egyptian tax law, EAS, and regulatory requirementsExperience in a manufacturing fieldProficiency in ERP systems and advanced MS ExcelFluent in Arabic and English (written and spoken)Experience in a multinational or group-structure organizationFamiliarity with IFRS reporting requirementsBackground in garment, textile, or consumer goods industry
