We are looking for a motivated Accounts Payable Analyst in Cairo, Egypt, to join our Westcon Comstor team!As an Accounts Payable Analyst, you will be involved with creating and reviewing vendor reconciliations and investigating and resolving invoice and credit note queries. As a large proportion of the role will entail problem-solving, previous experience in dispute management would be highly beneficial.This role will be based at our Egypt office, with some flexibility to work from home (hybrid working)Your Key ResponsibilitiesCreating and reviewing Vendor reconciliations on timeIdentifying processing errors and documenting root causeInvestigating and resolving invoice and credit note queriesLiaising with other business streams to resolve queriesWorking with business streams to reduce processing errorsReviewing unmatched entries on AP ledgerBuilding working relationships with vendors and maintaining weekly contact to discuss open queriesEnsuring accounts do not go on credit hold/payments are made on timeRequired Competencies, Skills, and ExperienceMinimum of 3 years’ experience in Accounts Payable (AP)Strong active listening and communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey issues across teamsProven ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and demonstrate strong time management skillsGood understanding or prior experience with the purchase order (PO) processProactive and tenacious approach to problem-solving and issue resolutionStrong analytical and numerical skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office, with intermediate-level Excel skillsEffective and engaging communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with vendors and clientsExperience working with ERP systemsDesirable QualificationsExperience handling multi-currency accountsPrevious experience with SAPAbout UsWestcon-Comstor is a global technology distributor specialising in cybersecurity, networking, and hybrid cloud solutions.
