We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Collection Accountant to join our growing real estate development company. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer accounts, following up on outstanding payments, recording collections, and ensuring accurate financial records.Key Responsibilities:Follow up with customers regarding due and overdue installments.Record and process customer payments accurately.Reconcile customer accounts and maintain updated records.Prepare collection reports and aging reports.Monitor cheques, bank transfers, and other payment methods.Coordinate with Sales, Customer Service, and Finance departments regarding customer accounts.Handle customer inquiries related to payments and account balances.Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedure Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.0-2 years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, or a similar accounting role.Previous experience in the real estate industry is preferred.Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems.Strong communication and negotiation skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Good command of English (written and spoken).
