The technician will be responsible for executing carpentry tasks from drawings and measurements, including cutting, assembling, and installing wooden components for furniture, cabinets, doors, and interior finishes. Daily activities include operating and maintaining hand tools and power tools, performing framing and structural work, and completing finish carpentry with a high level of precision and craftsmanship. The role also involves inspecting materials for quality, following safety procedures, collaborating with designers and supervisors, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and according to specifications. The technician will work closely with other team members on-site and in the workshop to support custom interior and home projects.Qualifications Strong carpentry skills with experience in interpreting drawings, measurements, and technical specifications.Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.Experience in framing, structural woodwork, and basic installation work.Competence in finish carpentry, including fine detailing, fittings, and surface preparation.Attention to detail, quality-focused mindset, and strong problem-solving skills.Ability to work on-site in Cairo, Egypt, and collaborate effectively with a diverse team.Commitment to safety standards, cleanliness, and proper maintenance of tools and work areas.Previous experience in furniture manufacturing, interior fit-out, or similar carpentry environments is preferred.Basic literacy and numeracy skills to follow instructions, record measurements, and complete job documentation.Willingness to work full time with flexibility for project-based schedules when required.
