Application Technical Leader - UX/UI, GISACC

We are leader on our businesses, and recognized as one of the largest global innovative companies.Responsibilities Leading the creation of intuitive, user-centered designs for web applications, including wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.Conducting user research, usability testing, and analyzing user feedback to refine and enhance designs.Establishing and maintaining design systems, style guides, and visual standards for consistency across applications.Collaborating with front-end developers to ensure designs are implemented with high fidelity, maintaining usability and accessibility.Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders, to define product strategies and solutions.Translate client requirements into impactful UX/UI designs by applying a deep understanding of business contexts, ensuring solutions align with objectives and deliver measurable value.Design intuitive and accessible interfaces for web platforms by staying informed about UX/UI trends and emerging technologies to deliver innovative, user-friendly solutions.Working closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to align design goals with business objectives.Participating in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to contribute to the development lifecycleLead Design Projects: Oversee end-to-end design processes for major projects, ensuring high-quality user experiences across platforms..Usability Testing: Plan and conduct usability testing sessions, analyzing results to improve designsMentorship: Guide and support junior designers, fostering professional growth and maintaining design standards.Prototyping: Create interactive prototypes to test and validate design concepts.Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate best practices into the design process.Team ramp up: Interviewing and selection of new less senior designer with induction conduction for new joiners to ensure seamless onboardingPeople Management: YES ◻NO ☒ Budget Management: YES ◻NO ☒ Candidate Profile Education/Training BSc degree in Graphic Design, HCI, UX or any similar technical field of study. Internal progressionProficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.Experience in leading at least 6 design projects from conception to delivery serving at least squad of 4 for eachDesigned 15–25 complete user journeys, from onboarding to feature deep-dives.Delivered 10–20 production UI designs in products with >1K active users.Successfully collaborated with 10–15 engineers and 3+ product owners.Led user testing in 4+ projects/year, incorporating learnings into design cycles.Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing.Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.Experience with responsive design and design systems.Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projectKey Competences (Transversal/Professional) Strong problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities.Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey ideas effectively.Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.Good knowledge in Agile ScrumUser-Centered Design (UCD): Deep understanding of UCD principles and ability to design for diverse user needs.User Research: Ability to conduct interviews, surveys, and usability studies to gather actionable insights.Data Analysis: Proficiency in interpreting user data to drive design decisions.Usability Testing: Experience in designing and conducting tests to validate user experience and functionality.Responsive Design: Strong knowledge of responsive and adaptive design principles.HTML/CSS/JavaScript: Familiarity with front-end development languages and frameworks (e.g., React, Angular) to facilitate collaboration with developers.Browser and Device Compatibility: Understanding cross-browser and cross-device considerations in UI design.Design Thinking: Expertise in applying design thinking methodologies to solve complex problems.Empathy for users and curiosity about human behavior.Open to feedback, eager to learn, and adaptable to evolving project requirements.Ownership mentality with a proactive and self-driven approach to work.Languages Excellent command of English language is a must (Written and Verbal)French is a plus.Other Specifications Technical SkillsExcellent experience with Figma, XD,and Adobe Creative Suite toolsFamiliarity with HTML and CSS to collaborate effectively with development teams.Ability to create detailed, interactive prototypes for user testing and developer handoff.Experience using and contributing to design systems to ensure consistency across products.
