A leading Engineering Consulting Office in Riyadh is seeking a qualified Architectural Design Engineer / Technical Office Engineer to join its growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for architectural design development, technical coordination, preparation and review of technical documentation, shop drawings, and support for project delivery throughout various stages of design and construction.This position requires full relocation to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Candidates must be willing to reside and work in Riyadh on a full-time basis.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and develop architectural designs, drawings, and construction documents in accordance with project requirements and applicable codes and standards.Produce and review architectural plans, elevations, sections, details, and specifications.Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including structural, MEP, and project management disciplines to ensure design integration and compliance.Review shop drawings, material submittals, and technical submissions from contractors.Support the Technical Office function through quantity take-offs, BOQ reviews, and technical documentation management.Participate in design reviews and value engineering exercises to optimize project outcomes.Ensure compliance with local regulations, municipality requirements, and client standards.Assist in resolving technical and design-related issues during project execution.Prepare technical reports, presentations, and project correspondence as required.Maintain project documentation and records throughout the project lifecycle.SkillsBachelor's Degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.Minimum 4–7 years of relevant experience within engineering consultancy firms.Proven experience in architectural design and technical office functions.Strong knowledge of architectural standards, construction methodologies, and detailing.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office applications.Experience with BIM environments is an advantage.Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively within project deadlines.Preferred RequirementsPrevious experience in Saudi Arabia or GCC projects is preferred.Familiarity with Saudi Building Code and local authority requirements.Strong technical documentation and drawing review capabilities.Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams.What We OfferCompetitive salary package (SAR 8,000 – 10,000 based on experience and qualifications).Opportunity to work on high-profile projects across Saudi Arabia.Professional development and career growth within a leading engineering consultancy environment.
