The Art Teacher will design and deliver engaging art lessons that foster creativity, visual literacy, and artistic skills across various grade levels. Daily responsibilities include planning lessons, preparing materials, teaching classes, demonstrating techniques, and guiding learners in painting and other art forms. The role involves assessing student work, providing constructive feedback, maintaining an organized and safe art classroom, and collaborating with colleagues to support school-wide projects and events. The Art Teacher will also participate in curriculum discussions, art exhibitions, and parent communications to highlight student progress and achievements.QualificationsStrong skills in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development for art-focused programs.Demonstrated Teaching and Art Education experience in school or similar learning environments.Proficiency in Painting and other visual art techniques, with the ability to teach both fundamentals and advanced skills.Ability to create an inclusive, encouraging classroom environment that supports diverse learning styles.Effective classroom management and communication skills, with clear instructional methods.Bachelor’s degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, or a related field; teaching certification is an advantage.Comfort with integrating basic educational technology and digital tools into art instruction.Previous experience working with school-age learners and organizing student art displays or exhibitions is beneficial.
