In this pivotal role, you will work closely with the Chief Engineer to ensure the seamless operation and maintenance of our facilities and infrastructure. This is an excellent opportunity for a collaborative professional who is passionate about technical excellence and eager to grow into a leadership position.Support the Chief Engineer in motivating, coaching, and directing a team of maintenance technicians, fostering a culture of accountability and professional developmentAssist in developing, prioritizing, and implementing comprehensive maintenance schedules and preventive maintenance programsCoordinate with external contractors and vendors for equipment repairs, troubleshooting, and specialized maintenance servicesConduct technical assessments of facility systems, analyze maintenance reports, and schedule corrective and preventive maintenance activitiesOversee the quality and timeliness of maintenance work, ensuring all tasks meet established standards and specificationsManage inventory of spare parts, materials, and technical equipment, ensuring availability and cost-effectivenessMaintain and update local certifications and compliance documentation, including elevator inspections, fire suppression systems, and safety equipmentAssist in planning and executing large-scale projects such as facility renovations, equipment replacements, and system upgradesMonitor and enforce health, safety, and environmental compliance standards across all maintenance operationsPrepare technical documentation, maintenance logs, and performance reports for management reviewRespond to emergency maintenance requests and coordinate on-call support services as neededContribute to the development and implementation of facility improvement initiatives and operational efficienciesQualificationsRequired Qualifications:** Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or any relevant engineering disciplineMinimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a technical maintenance role within hospitality operationsDemonstrated knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, gas systems, and building construction principlesProven experience in team supervision or coordination of maintenance personnelStrong understanding of health, safety, and environmental compliance requirementsProficiency in English; Arabic language skills are highly desirable for this locationStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent organizational and time management skillsExceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)Collaborative team player with a flexible and adaptable approach
