- Plan and execute a network strategy that is in conformity with the short and long term business strategy.- 2nd level of communication to resolve users issues and escalates to Dubai Technology Team.- Ensure that requirements and priorities are properly defined and are in line with business needs.- Evaluate new and emerging technologies.- Identify opportunities to exploit them for business advantage.- Prepare feasibility studies, time and cost estimates and implementation plans. Identify right partnerships and do contract negotiations.- Identify consultancy needs and facilitate knowledge transfer consultants to technology staff.- Develop, administer and control annual budgets and resource plans. Monitor projects to design, test and implement systems I applications.- Assign, direct and check the work of systems engineers and system support staff to ensure that business solutions are achieved.- Provide technical direction to the staff to ensure that standards and procedures are followed.- Evaluate performance of subordinates' team members, make compensation and bonus decisions, hire and fire employees.- Coordinate technical activities with internal support groups to facilitate resolution of user problems.
