We are currently seeking a Mid-Level Associate to join our Corporate and M&A team.QualificationsBachelor of Laws (English or French Section).Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in corporate law and mergers and acquisitions (M&A).Previous experience at a reputable law firm is highly preferred.Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic.Excellent communication skills.Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.Proven ability to manage time effectively and meet tight deadlines.Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously.Collaborative team player with a proactive mindset.Key ResponsibilitiesDrafting and reviewing a wide range of agreements, including service agreements, distribution agreements, and sale agreements.Conducting legal research and drafting legal memoranda and legal opinions related to corporate governance and other matters under Egyptian law, as well as applicable regulatory frameworks across various business sectors.Assisting in public and private M&A transactions, particularly by conducting legal due diligence exercises.Providing legal opinions on day-to-day legal matters.Managing corporate matters, including company incorporation, restructuring, and ensuring compliance with applicable governance and regulatory requirements.Assisting with drafting and reviewing transaction documents, including share purchase agreements, shareholders’ agreements, and escrow agreements.Interested candidates may send their CVs to: recruitment@matoukbassiouny.com
