Managing discussions with international regulators to address inquiries regarding Branch Audit coverage and key identified issues. Also, participate in regulatory reviews and oversee information coordination. Additionally, provide assurance on adherence and compliance to the Bank’s and Local Regulatory control standards, procedures and processes.Performing annual Risk Assessment (GRAM) of the entire Audit Universe for the IBG business and preparing the Annual Audit Plan and obtain Head of Audit/Head of International Audit approval for the plan.Adhering to the various local regulatory guidelines on Internal Audit function.Ensuring that the Bank is in Compliance with the various requirements of the relevant Regulator and their guidelines on various types of audits required to be done in the overseas locations. To achieve overall objectives, assist in preparation and implementation of short- and long-term strategies and directions.As specialist conduct risk assessments and evaluate the risks associated with all functions and the complex processes that span various areas.Independently engage as a composite risk specialist with various Group and Division heads and managers to effectively and completely close control gaps within a reasonable time frame.Plan and conduct audits, reviews, and investigations; analyze and prioritize gaps based on various risk and value implications. Collaborate to develop action plans as remedial measures to mitigate composite risks.Engage and communicate directly and effectively with various Group and Division Heads and managers, influence them, and secure factually accurate agreements to close control gaps. Directly manage one MGN staff. Also, Lead and train audit staff to improve overall effectiveness and upgradation of skills in a dynamic and changing environment.Independently developing and preparing all reports in a professional manner for the MANCO/ Board Audit Committee/HO Senior Management/Country Management as required, with minimal intervention or guidance from the HO Internal Audit Providing complete and timely information to the Head of International Audit to ensure proper oversight of the audit processes e.g. audit planning/audit plan progress update/status of open-overdue issues/etc.Maintain a consistent approach across the bank when dealing with Group and IBG Division Heads and managers, as well as in matters related to risk.Identify weaknesses in control effectiveness and key processes, address operational deficiencies, and provide appropriate recommendations for improvement to minimize risk and safeguard the bank’s assets.For any special investigation/assignments requested by the Management or Regulator(s), developing the scope in consultation with Management/HO Internal Audit - Head of International Audit/HO Fraud Prevention& Investigation and providing report with appropriate recommendations and conclusions.
