This role involves a great deal of communication with the client during the functional development and requirements capture stage, and also post-acceptance queries.Responsibilities Create software design specifications and associated documentation for the solution Development of PLC code in line with ISO procedures and defined standards Develop and manage GAMP documentation e.g., URS, FDS, DDS, FAT, SAT, IOPQ, etc Liaising with other Engineers on the implementation of SCADA software. Use of PLC programming software for Siemens PLCs/RTUs. Training of clients on the use of the application once implemented. Maintain consistency of the quality throughout all projects. Ability to work to deadlines. Maintenance of projects once implemented. General all-round Housekeeping of all PLC development projects.Technical Skills Minimum of 2 years demonstrable experience in PLC solutions with (Siemens) 1200,1500, and S7-400 Demonstrable experience in control systems design and application SCADA – TIA portal and WinCC Knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications Networks: Ethernet/IP, Profibus, DeviceNet, ControlNet Interpersonal Skills Well-developed formal and oral communication and reporting skills at all levels in an organization.
