As we continue to grow, we are looking to hire anAR Accountant to support this next stage of scale and help strengthen our operations, processes, and capabilities alongside the business.What We Look ForWe are looking for a Billing Specialist who will be responsible for preparing and processing invoices related to freight forwarding and logistics operations, ensuring accurate billing for shipments, transportation, customs clearance, and related services. The role requires close coordination with operations, finance, and customer service teams to maintain billing accuracy and timely invoicing.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and issue customer invoices for freight forwarding services (air, ocean, and land freight)Verify shipment details, rates, costs, and supporting documents before invoingCoordinate with operations and customer service teams to ensure billing accuracyProcess vendor invoices and validate charges against agreed ratesFollow up on missing documents or billing discrepanciesMaintain accurate billing records and shipment-related documentationSupport accounts receivable by tracking outstanding invoices and customer paymentsReconcile billing data with operational and financial recordsAssist in monthly closing and reporting activitiesEnsure compliance with company policies and customer agreementsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field1-3 years of experience in billing, accounting, or logistics operationsExperience in freight forwarding or logistics industry is preferredGood understanding of shipping documents and logistics terminologyProficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting systemsStrong attention to detail and accuracyGood communication and coordination skills
