Job SummaryThe Business Analyst works closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements. The role focuses on understanding business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and supporting the implementation of business and technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency and achieve business objectives.ResponsibilitiesGather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, and functional specifications.Analyze business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement.Conduct gap analysis between current and future business processes.Prepare and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications, use cases, and process flow diagrams.Collaborate with business users and technical teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood.Support the software development lifecycle (SDLC) by participating in requirement clarification, solution validation, and change management.Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect tracking, and verification of delivered solutions.Maintain project documentation and ensure requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle.Prepare regular status updates and support project planning activities.Ensure implemented solutions align with business objectives and user expectations.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.2–4 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements.Experience preparing Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications, user stories, and process flow diagrams.Good understanding of business process analysis and workflow improvement.Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.Experience participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).Basic knowledge of SQL, data analysis, or reporting tools is an advantage.Experience with digital transformation projects or system integrations is a plus.Familiarity with government portals such as Digital Egypt or G2G integrations is an advantage.Professional certifications such as ECBA, CBAP, or PMI-PBA are considered a plus.Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
