FlowardJob PurposeThe Business Development Officer supports the company’s corporate sales strategy by identifying new business opportunities, assisting in lead generation, and coordinating the preparation of client proposals. This role contributes to expanding the company’s corporate client base and ensuring smooth sales operations to drive revenue and client satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesLead Generation & Client OutreachAssist in identifying potential B2B clients through research and market analysis.Support outreach initiatives, including cold calling, emailing, and social media messaging to qualify leads.Maintain a prospecting list and follow up regularly to keep the pipeline active.Proposal & Sales SupportAssist in preparing proposals, quotations, and presentations tailored to client requirements.Help coordinate follow-ups on submitted proposals to monitor progress.Maintain accurate records of all sales-related documentation.Client Coordination & Internal LiaisonServe as a point of contact for basic client inquiries and support their day-to-day needs.Liaise with the operations and marketing teams to ensure service delivery aligns with client expectations.Keep updated records of client communications and interactions.Sales Reporting & Administrative SupportMaintain accurate CRM data and update sales trackers.Assist in preparing regular sales activity reports for review.Gather client feedback post-delivery to help improve future services.EducationSkills and QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.Experience1–3 years of experience in sales support, business development, or a related field.Exposure to B2B, e-commerce, or gifting sectors is an advantage.Technical SkillsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).Familiarity with CRM tools is a plus.Soft SkillsStrong communication and interpersonal skills.Organized with attention to detail.Proactive attitude and eager to learn.
