As the company continues to scale, they are seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to help generate new business opportunities, manage prospect engagement, maintain pipeline accuracy, and contribute directly to revenue growth. This role plays a critical part in ensuring prospects receive timely follow-up, accurate information, and a professional sales experience throughout the buying process.Role OverviewThe Business Development Representative (BDR) will be responsible for generating and qualifying leads, managing inbound and outbound sales activities, maintaining pipeline organization, and supporting revenue growth through proactive prospect engagement. The SDR will handle inbound inquiries, nurture leads through follow-up activities, prepare estimates when required, and help maintain CRM accuracy across the sales process. This role is ideal for a highly organized, proactive sales professional who enjoys relationship-building, pipeline management, and helping convert opportunities into revenue.LocationFully Remote | 9:00 AM -5:00 PM ESTKey ResponsibilitiesLead Generation & ResearchIdentify and research potential clients and business opportunities.Build and maintain qualified prospect lists.Generate new opportunities through outbound prospecting efforts.Maintain an organized pipeline of leads and opportunities.Continuously review, clean, and update prospect records to maintain data accuracy.Inbound & Outbound SalesHandle inbound sales inquiries and engage directly with prospects.Conduct outbound follow-up activities to nurture leads and increase conversions.Build relationships with prospects throughout the sales process.Close opportunities over the phone when appropriate.Prepare and deliver estimates while maintaining profitability and margin considerations.Support ongoing sales efforts through consistent prospect engagement.Pipeline & CRM ManagementManage opportunities throughout the sales pipeline.Maintain accurate CRM records and documentation.Update deal stages and prospect statuses in a timely manner.Track interactions, follow-up activities, and next steps.Coordinate follow-up efforts to maximize engagement and conversion opportunities.Ensure pipeline data remains organized, accurate, and actionable.Organization & CollaborationMaintain an organized workflow while managing multiple prospects and priorities.Collaborate with internal teams regarding estimates, opportunities, and client needs.Demonstrate initiative in identifying new opportunities for business growth.Support sales operations through proactive communication and coordination.Contribute to overall sales team performance and revenue objectives.Qualifications Experience2+ years of experience in sales, business development, lead generation, or related customer-facing roles.Experience generating and qualifying leads through outbound prospecting activities.Experience managing inbound sales inquiries and prospect engagement.Experience maintaining CRM systems and sales pipelines.Experience tracking opportunities and managing follow-up activities throughout the sales process.Experience preparing estimates, quotes, or sales proposals is preferred.B2B sales experience is a strong plus.Experience working within structured sales processes and performance-driven environments is preferred.Qualifications SkillsStrong organizational and pipeline management skills.Strong prospecting and lead qualification abilities.Ability to manage multiple priorities and sales opportunities simultaneously.Strong CRM management and documentation skills.Strong follow-up discipline and relationship-building capabilities.Ability to maintain accurate sales records and opportunity tracking.Strong attention to detail when preparing estimates and managing client information.Proactive, self-directed approach to sales activities.Comfortable engaging prospects and advancing opportunities through the sales process.Results-oriented mindset with a focus on sales growth and conversion outcomes.What Success Looks LikeConsistent generation and qualification of high-quality leads.Sales opportunities are accurately tracked and maintained within the CRM.Estimates and follow-up activities are completed accurately and on time.Pipeline records remain organized, current, and actionable.Sales targets and conversion goals are consistently achieved or exceeded.Prospects receive timely communication and a professional sales experience throughout the process.OpportunityThis is an opportunity to play a direct role in business growth by generating opportunities, managing prospect relationships, and contributing to revenue generation.
