Business Development SurveyorPosition SummaryThe Business Development Surveyor is responsible for identifying new sales opportunities in the market through field surveying, market intelligence gathering, and lead generation activities. The role focuses on discovering ongoing and upcoming fit-out, renovation, office, commercial, and construction projects and providing qualified leads to the Sales Engineering team.The Business Development Surveyor acts as threetee's eyes and ears in the market, continuously building a database of potential clients, contractors, consultants, developers, tenants, and decision-makers.Key ResponsibilitiesMarket Surveying & IntelligenceConduct regular field visits to:Commercial office buildingsAdministrative developmentsBusiness parksMalls and retail developmentsMixed-use developmentsConstruction sitesIndustrial and logistics facilitiesNew residential compounds with commercial componentsIdentify ongoing and upcoming:Office fit-out projectsCorporate relocationsRenovations and refurbishmentsCommercial developmentsConstruction projects requiring interior or exterior aluminium systemsMonitor newly occupied office spaces and commercial units.Gather market intelligence regarding:Project statusEstimated project sizeProject timelinesMain contractor informationConsultant informationClient informationDecision-makers and influencersLead GenerationGenerate qualified sales leads for the Sales Engineering team.Identify companies currently:Leasing office spacePurchasing office spaceExpanding operationsRelocating headquartersUndertaking fit-out worksBuild relationships with:Facility management teamsBuilding management officesProperty managersLeasing agentsReal estate brokersSite personnelObtain contact details of:Project managersProcurement teamsConsultantsContractorsCorporate decision-makersArrange introductory meetings between prospects and threetee's Sales Engineers. QualificationsEducationBachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.Experience1–3 years of experience in:Business developmentSales supportConstruction industry field workReal estateMarket researchLead generationExperience in fit-out, construction, architectural products, or building materials is an advantage.SkillsStrong communication and interpersonal skills.Confidence approaching new contacts and gathering information.Ability to build relationships quickly.Strong observation and investigative skills.Organized and detail-oriented.Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in the field.Knowledge of Cairo and Giza commercial areas is preferred.
