Learn more: jti.com Sort Term Assignment – 18th Months Business Modelling & Market Intelligence Manager The purpose of this role is to provide a robust, fact‑based understanding of the market through consumption modelling, competitive intelligence and scenario analysis. The role enables leadership to make informed strategic and commercial decisions by translating market complexity into clear, forward‑looking insights.Reporting to the Data & Foresight Lead, the Business Modelling & Market Intelligence Manager owns the development and maintenance of market and business models that reflect real market dynamics, competitive behavior, pricing structures, taxation and macroeconomic drivers. Position: Market and consumption modelling Build and maintain market consumption models across all relevant nicotine categories.Integrate legal, illicit, outflow, channel, format and price‑segment dynamics.Ensure assumptions are documented, refreshed regularly and clearly communicated. Business planning and decision support Develop scenario models to assess the impact of pricing moves, portfolio changes, tax/excise shifts, competitive actions and macroeconomic changes.Support the Data & Foresight Lead in preparing evidence‑based recommendations for leadership forums.Act as the reference point for market sizing, competitive dynamics and pricing logic. Competitive and market intelligence Systematically collect and analyse competitor pricing, portfolio, distribution and activation activity.Track structural changes in the market and emerging competitive threats or opportunities.Translate intelligence into implications and recommendations beyond descriptive updates. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics , Marketing, or a related field.5+ years of experience in market intelligence, strategy, or business analysis.Strong skills in business modelling, forecasting, and competitor analysis.Ability to turn market data into clear strategic recommendations.Proficiency in Excel, Power BI or Tableau, and SQL.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Experience in pricing, reporting, and market research is a plus.
