Key ResponsibilitiesCreate detailed 2D and 3D designs and technical drawings based on specifications from project leaders, engineers, and architects. Work closely with engineers and architects to convert hand-drawn sketches into digital formats, ensuring that all designs meet project requirements and industry standards. Revise and update existing drawings to reflect changes during the construction or manufacturing process, maintaining accurate records of all modifications. Ensure that all drawings comply with building regulations, safety standards, and quality assurance protocols. Manage and store all drawings securely, keeping an organized archive of all project documentation. Required Skills and QualificationsTypically requires an associate’s degree in drafting, engineering technology, or a related field. Additional courses in CAD software are beneficial. Proficient in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Revit, with a solid understanding of drafting techniques and engineering terminology. Good knowledge ability to use 3D software.Strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex calculations and technical specifications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
