Lafarge Egypt continuously seeks to meet the needs of a wide range of customers including but not limited to individual homebuilders, large construction companies, architects, or local artisans, powered by 1500 passionate employees.Overview:The main purpose of the job is to develop and maintain kiln/plant stability, quality and productivity as well as being second in charge to the shift lead in terms of setting the fuel mix optimizations plan and fuel plan decisions to control the fuel costKey ResponsibilitiesKey Accountabilities:Coordinate and manage the production to make available on a day-to-day basis, the required product within the specific quality, cost and time.Constantly aims for the upkeeps and the best performance of the production equipment to ensure maximum equipment availability.Ensures strict compliance of Production operations with the Lafarge Operating Model (CIF) to identify his/her department methodology with Lafarge wayResponsible for setting parameters across Kiln and other plant processes to ensure continuous smooth running of the plantReviews and analyzes all operation parameters and production reports to ensure optimize equipment utilization and adherence to quality standardsCoordinates with interdepartmental resources on aspects which are affecting the Kiln/plant productivity and ensures that necessary corrective actions are takenReview daily trends focusing on operator decisions and plan & schedule discussions to investigate incidents, if any.Define and update new operator procedures and also tune operational control Loop related to kiln OperationsSupports in coordination for the CROs vacationResponsible for setting the fuel mix optimizations plan and support the shift lead in the fuel plan decisions to control the fuel cost1-Health & Safety:Adhere to and enforce relevant legislation and policies and ensure that highest degree of safety and safe working practices are maintained.2-Functional:Ensure the safety and development of his/her personal; participate in drawing up safety rules to improve safety performance for plant employees - Safe Working Environment – FR- Zero LTIEnsure protection of environment in compliance with group standards within his/her field to improve working environment - HSIP implemented Zero injuries; no Emission violations; Level of Housekeeping; Maintenance friendly workplace Dust emission (below 50-mg/Nm3).Education, Qualifications & ExperienceEducation:- Bachelor degree in Science or any relevant field.Min Experience 5-8 years’ experience in cement field with at least 4 years’ previous cement plant experience in production,Previous control room operating experience more than 2 years.Job-Specific Skills- Communication Skills at advanced level- Demonstrated a strong commitment to Safety- Staying current with new technology and being receptive to new ideas- Good knowledge of production operationsWHO ARE LAFARGE PEOPLE?Lafarge people are passionate about finding better ways to build.
