 Manage all administrative responsibilities of Dean including confidential materials and business communications with all levels of management.  Providing proactive assistance to the Dean in the management of his time, including forward looking to anticipate requirements of the Dean in fulfilling his role, managing his diary, scheduling individual, and group meetings on his behalf, assisting him in the forward-planning of his workload and advising of impending deadlines.  Initiate and build relationships/networking chains with contacts in external bodies for the Dean.  Dealing with sensitive and confidential information, using judgment and initiative in prioritization of responses and issues, referring onwards where necessary. Participating in preparing the faculty Conferences by communicating with the organizing company in Egypt and outside Egypt and following up on the preparations to produce the conference in the best and most successful way.  Preparing the Faculty’s international visits agenda.  Reviewing and translating some contracts from Arabic to English and from English to Arabic.  In the event of a seminar or private visit to the college, I prepare the place in which the event will be held and ensure the smooth running of the event.  Participation in preparing laboratories, offices, and classrooms in the building.  Recording, filing, auctioning and/or forwarding all incoming internal and external paperwork, emails, and telephone calls promptly and professionally.  Undertaking correspondence for the Dean as requested, or on his behalf as appropriate.  Receiving visitors to the Dean and arranging hospitality as necessary.  Supporting the Dean's external relations activities, including acting as a helpful and welcoming first point of contact for external enquirers, receiving external visitors on his behalf and arranging hospitality, and arranging travel and accommodation for the Dean or his visitors as necessary.  Assisting the Dean in the preparation of presentational material and other documentation for wider internal and/ or external circulate.
