Mark Williams is partnering with a market leading company based in Egypt who are looking for a CFO. As a key member of the executive leadership team, the CFO will serve as a strategic business partner, driving financial performance, supporting sustainable growth, and ensuring robust governance across a complex, multi-country operation.The Role• Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, contributing to the development and execution of the organisation's strategic and financial objectives• Develop and execute the financial strategy aligned with business objectives• Partner with the CEO and senior leadership team to drive business performance• Support the ongoing separation and transformation of the company from the wider group structure• Drive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management• Strengthen financial controls, governance, and risk management frameworks• Lead finance transformation initiatives, including automation and AI-enabled finance capabilities• Provide strategic support for international expansion across Middle East• Drive operational efficiency, profitability, and working capital optimization• Present business cases, financial insights, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership• Ensure strong financial governance, internal controls, and risk management frameworks• Oversee compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and audit requirements. programs, ventures, and capital projects through robust business case analysis• Develop financial models, KPIs, and performance metrics to support institutional objectives• Present financial insights and recommendations to senior management and the BoardCandidate Requirements• Progressive finance leadership experience• Previous experience in a senior finance leadership role, ideally Global CFO, CFO Finance Director or equivalent• Strong experience within: FMCG, Manufacturing, Logistics• Proven experience operating within large, complex organizations• International and global business exposure is required• Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking capability• Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution• Demonstrate experience leading large finance teams and developing talent• Minimum of 12 years progressive finance leadership experience, including senior executive-level responsibilities• Experience driving business transformation and change management initiatives• Strong understanding of technology, digital transformation, and AI applications within finance• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and operate effectively within a matrix organization
