job VacancyArchitectural Engineer / Civil Engineer – Owner’s RepresentativeRepresent the Owner on-site and oversee project execution.Monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.Review and approve quantity take-offs and ensure progress payments align with actual completion rates.Verify executed quantities and ensure compliance with contract items.Coordinate continuously with consultants and contractors to resolve technical issues.Monitor project timelines and ensure adherence to the approved schedule.Attend technical meetings and prepare meeting minutes.Review material submittals and approve samples in accordance with specifications.Oversee quality control procedures and manage initial and final handovers.Prepare comprehensive periodic progress reports for senior management.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on site. Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering from an accredited university.3 to 7 years of experience in construction execution and site supervision.Previous experience as an Owner’s Representative or in supervising contractors is a strong advantage.Full proficiency in reviewing and interpreting engineering drawings and execution plans.Strong experience in quantity surveying (BOQ preparation and review) and progress payment certifications.Ability to review contractual items and ensure executed works match approved quantities.Proficiency in the following engineering software:AutoCADRevit (preferred)Primavera or MS ProjectMicrosoft Office (advanced Excel skills required)Good knowledge of technical specifications and applicable codes.Strong coordination skills with consultants and contractors.Ability to prepare detailed technical and analytical reports.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Applicants must be residents of Alexandria.
