Based in Newbury, this role plays a key part in analysing and forecasting approximately €100m of annual commercial charges from IBM, contributing directly to Vodafone’s financial planning and trading cycles. The role requires a strong focus on data, contract understanding, and continuous improvement of reporting to identify opportunities, manage risks, and support commercial decision-making.What you’ll doImplement and continuously enhance reporting frameworks and financial management controls for the IBM agreementProvide a clear understanding of Cirrus profitability and recommend opportunities to improve financial outcomesAnalyse, forecast, and reconcile payments to IBM against end customer pricingDevelop and manage commercial and finance models to support scenario planning and decision-makingSupport dispute resolution through detailed analysis and preparation of management-level reporting aligned to contractual termsAct as a key interface between IBM and internal finance teams to ensure accurate and timely financial processesProduce customer profitability insights for senior stakeholders and support strategic initiatives to improve overall profitabilityBuild and maintain modelling tools to enable efficient analysis and optimisation of commercial performanceWho you areExperience in a commercial finance or analytical role (typically 3 to 6 years)A relevant business or finance qualificationStrong analytical and numerical capabilities, with advanced Excel and modelling expertiseExperience working within complex, global, matrix organisationsAbility to influence stakeholders effectively through clear and structured communicationStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressureHigh attention to detail with a methodical approach to analysis and validationWorking knowledge of SAP (EVO) and planning tools (e.g., OHP) is advantageousA proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with a focus on continuous improvementNot a perfect fit?Concerned you may not meet every requirement?
