Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Contract Manager to administer and manage all contractual aspects of construction and development projects throughout their complete lifecycle. This role serves as the primary contractual point of contact, ensuring compliance with agreements while protecting client interests and maximizing value realization across diverse commercial frameworks.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister and supervise Construction/Building Contract(s) and Consultancy Service AgreementsEnsure all project parties meet their contractual obligationsProvide professional administrative oversight to avoid delays and maintain project progressEstablish and implement change-control proceduresReview and prioritize all notified changes based on programme impactAdminister variation order approval process and prepare Request for Change/Approval formsCoordinate with supervision and cost consultants for technical assessmentsChair and manage Change Management meetingsClose out and agree variations with stakeholdersMaintain comprehensive tracking logs for all notices and responsesKeep detailed records of documents, correspondences, schedules, and reports to support Employer's positionManage and resolve claims and disputes in a timely mannerMediate Contractor claimsProvide contractual and technical assessments for Extension of Time (EOT) claimsPrepare technical assessments using Time Impact Analysis and SCL Protocol methodologiesIssue contractual responses to Contractors while reserving Employer's rightsManage all contractual correspondence and information distributionPrepare contractual letters to Contractors/ConsultantsCollate information and prepare reports for Employer submissionRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related fieldMinimum 5-7 years of contract administration experience in construction/development projectsStrong knowledge of construction contracts (JCT, NEC, FIDIC, or similar)Experience with various commercial models (GMP, lump sum, remeasurement)Professional membership (RICS, CIOB, or equivalent) preferred
