About the job Corporate LawyerThe Corporate Lawyer is responsible for managing the day-to-day legal operations of Transmar Egypt.This role ensures that all contracts and corporate actions are legally compliant and aligned with applicable laws and governance frameworks.The Corporate Lawyer will draft and review a wide range of agreements, maintain the legal standing of all Transmar entities with regulatory authorities, coordinate litigation matters with external counsel, and act as a trusted legal advisor to internal stakeholders on risk mitigation and contractual obligations.Duties & Responsibilities:Contracts ManagementOversee the end-to-end integrity of the company's contractual framework, ensuring all agreements are legally compliant and aligned with business objectives.Provide strategic legal guidance to internal stakeholders on contractual obligations, liabilities, and proactive risk mitigation.Safeguard the company's interests by monitoring contract lifecycles, renewals, amendments, and termination rights.Ensure all contract records, databases, and filing systems are accurate, accessible, and fully compliant with internal policies, enabling efficient retrieval and audit readiness.Drive the operational management of contract lifecycles, including tracking key milestones, coordinating internal approvals, maintaining documentation, and ensuring timely renewals, amendments, and closures to protect the company's interests.Corporate Governance & Regulatory AffairsEnsure the legal standing and regulatory compliance of all Transmar entities in Egypt by drafting, reviewing, and finalizing corporate documents in accordance with applicable Egyptian laws and governance requirements.Serve as the primary point of contact between Transmar and governmental authorities, ministries, and regulatory bodies in Egypt to ensure all licensing, registrations, and regulatory filings are completed accurately and on time.Ensure all corporate actions across Transmar entities comply with internal governance frameworks and applicable Egyptian laws, including follow-ups on notarizations and regulatory approvals.Litigation & Legal CoordinationProtect the company's legal position and reputation by overseeing litigation, disputes, and legal claims in coordination with external counsel.Drive effective resolution of legal investigations and compliance matters while minimizing exposure and disruption.Ensure clear, strategic communication between the company, external legal partners, governmental entities, and business partners on all ongoing legal matters.Key Performance Indicators Accuracy and quality of contract drafting with minimal legal or operational errors.Timely review and turnaround of legal contracts and requests.Effective identification, assessment, and escalation of legal and commercial risks.Compliance with corporate governance and regulatory requirements.Efficiency in handling litigation follow-ups and external legal coordination.Internal stakeholders' satisfaction and responsiveness to business needs.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in LawUp to 3 years of relevant experience in corporate governance, commercial contracts, and legal operations.Strong knowledge of Egyptian laws and regulations, including corporate, commercial, labor, and governmental procedures.Strong written and verbal communication (both in English and Arabic).Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and legal documentation management systems.
