Cost Accountant

The Costing Accountant will be responsible for tracking, analyzing, and controlling the cost structure of the production process, ensuring accuracy in reporting and contributing to financial decision-making.The following qualifications and experience are required for this role:Prepare and monitor standard costing for raw materials, labor, and overheadsAnalyze production variances and report deviationsPrepare monthly cost reports and support closing activitiesCoordinate with warehouse, procurement, and production departments to validate cost-related dataSupport budgeting and forecasting activities related to manufacturing costsAssist in inventory valuation and cost of goods sold (COGS) analysisEnsure cost records are maintained in compliance with internal controls and company policies Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field3–5 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environmentSolid understanding of standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuationProficiency in Excel; ERP experience (Oracle) is a plusStrong attention to detail and analytical skillsAdditional Details:Work Location: El Sadat City – Transportation is provided from Cairo & Giza.
