Role OverviewThe Country Manager will be responsible for establishing and scaling the formulations business in assigned markets. This is a strategic, P&L-oriented role focused on business development, partnerships, licensing, and long-term market creation, including future tech transfer and local manufacturing setup. Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and drive P&L management for the assigned countryBuild the business from scratch in Egypt; scale existing partnerships Lead B2B business development, including customer acquisition and account managementExecute out-licensing (primary focus) and in-licensing strategiesIdentify and conclude strategic partnerships with distributors, manufacturers, and local playersLead tech transfer initiatives and support future local manufacturing setupManage product registrations by coordinating with internal teams, regulators, and external partnersPlan and execute new product launches and portfolio/basket expansionDevelop and implement country-specific strategic business plansMaintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and ensure regulatory compliance Candidate ProfileExperience: 15+ years in pharmaceutical business managementAge Preference: 40 years and aboveEducation: GraduateIndustry Exposure: Pharma (Oncology preferred; non-oncology profiles may also be considered) Key Skills & CompetenciesStrong P&L ownership and commercial acumenProven B2B business management experienceExpertise in out-licensing / in-licensing dealsStrategic planning and execution capabilityExperience in tech transfer and local manufacturing projectsKnowledge of regulatory processes and market accessStrong negotiation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills
