Main Job Purpose:Evaluating the creditworthiness of corporates, SMEs, and financial institutions, as well as assessing debt issuance and structured finance instruments issued by different obligors in various sectors by conducting detailed financial and risk analysis, applying rating methodologies, preparing credit reports, and participating in rating committees by communicating transparent and reliable credit opinions—integrating deep financial analysis, market insights, and communication with stakeholders.Accountabilities:Analyze financial statements and capital structures of corp orates and financial institutions to determine the credit strength of issuers and support objective, data-driven rating decisions.Perform stress testing under various macroeconomic scenarios to evaluate the resilience and financial stability of rated entities.Apply quantitative and qualitative credit risk analysis, including peer comparisons, to ensure consistency and rigor in credit assessments.Build and update financial models to evaluate issuers’ financial metrics and creditworthinessConduct forecasting and scenario analysis to evaluate potential impacts on credit ratings under different economic and financial conditions.Research macroeconomic trends and sector dynamics to provide contextual analysis that enhances rating insights.Prepare comprehensive credit rating reports and commentaries that clearly communicate the rationale and outcomes of credit evaluations.Regularly monitor issuers’ financial performance and assigned credit ratings for any material changes or industry trends that could impact credit assessments to ensure timely updates and integrity of assigned credit ratings.Update financial models based on new market developments, financials and any input that could impact on the overall rating.Incorporate changes in regulatory frameworks and FRA guidelines into rating methodologies to maintain compliance and analytical relevance.Participate in meetings with issuers and investors to present rating analyses and engage in transparent discussions about rating outcomes.Collaborate with companies and financial institutions under coverage to support rating decisions through clear presentation of analysis and recommendations.Job Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or any other related fieldCFA Level 1 is a Plus.MSc degree or higher would be a plusStrong written and verbal communicationFinancial modelingFinancial and credit analysisResearch and analytical thinkingStrong presentation skillsProblem solvingInnovative
