With a focus on financial analysis and risk assessment, you will work closely with senior analysts and relationship managers to ensure that the credit policies are followed while maintaining a balance between business growth and risk management.Key ResponsibilitiesCredit Risk Assessment:Assist in analyzing financial statements, cash flow reports, and other relevant data to assess the creditworthiness of SME clients.Support the identification of risks based on industry trends, economic conditions, and business performance.Help in determining appropriate credit limits, terms, and conditions for SME clients.Risk Monitoring & ReportingAssist in monitoring the existing credit portfolio to identify potential risks and provide support in risk mitigation strategies.Prepare reports summarizing credit assessments, risk findings, and portfolio performance for review by senior team members.Client CollaborationWork with relationship managers to help understand client needs and provide insights for tailored credit solutions.Support in regular client reviews to ensure the risk profile is properly aligned with the bank’s objectives.Regulatory ComplianceHelp ensure that all credit-related activities adhere to internal policies and regulatory requirements.Stay updated on any changes in credit risk regulations and industry best practices.Documentation & Record-KeepingAssist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation related to credit risk analysis.Ensure all credit files and risk assessments are compliant with company standards.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.Experience1 to 3 years of experience in credit risk analysis or a similar financial services role, preferably within the SME sector.Strong understanding of financial analysis and basic credit risk principles.SkillsProficient in financial analysis, with a good grasp of financial statements, ratios, and key performance indicators (KPIs).Familiarity with credit risk management practices and industry trends.Experience with Microsoft Excel and basic financial modeling tools.Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of credit risk analysis.
