Department: Data Insights & Artificial IntelligenceLocation: Cairo, EgyptPurpose of the RoleAs a Data Scientist in our Data Science & AI team, you will play a pivotal role in Coca Cola HBC’s data-driven transformation. You will develop advanced analytics solutions and turn strategic data assets into actionable insights across our business (spanning 29+ countries). In this mid-senior role, you’ll apply your expertise in analytics & machine learning to solve real-world problems and drive value in areas such as route-to-market, omnichannel sales, revenue growth, supply chain, and finance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to inform decision-making and help embed a data-driven culture. We operate within an Agile delivery model, so you’ll also collaborate through tools like Azure DevOps to iterate on solutions quickly and ensure high-quality deployments into production.‑Cola HBC’s data-driven transformation. You will develop advanced analytics solutions and turn strategic data assets into actionable insights across our business.In this role, you will contribute to analytics and AI initiatives across multiple functional areas of the business, including Route‑to‑Market, Supply Chain & Planning, People & Culture, Revenue Growth Management & Finance, and Digital Commerce. These areas span a diverse portfolio of use cases, from customer and market segmentation, pricing and promotion optimization, and digital personalization, to forecasting, optimization, automation, and workforce analytics. Working with rich, large‑scale datasets, you will help translate complex business and operational data into scalable, production‑ready analytics and AI solutions that support decision‑making, improve execution, and drive measurable business impact across markets. The exact functional focus will depend on business priorities, product roadmaps, and team needs, ensuring exposure to a broad range of high‑impact problems rather than a single, siloed domainYOUR NEW KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Dive into large and complex datasets to identify patterns and opportunities.Translate analytical findings into actionable insights and communicate them effectively.Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to solve business problems.Spearhead the development of pilot solutions and support the lifecycle of the product.Collaborate extensively with business, technical and cross-functional stakeholders to deeply understand challenges and identify opportunities.Ability to clearly articulate findings and insights to technical & non-technical audiencesWork with Agile/SAFe delivery models and respective ways of working.Stay up to date with AI/ML advancements and share knowledge with the team.ARE THESE YOUR SECRET INGREDIENTS?Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative or related field.2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in data science or advanced analytics.Experience with ML and statistics, probabilities, regression and classificationDemonstrate curiosity and eagerness to communicate across on a day to day basis. Participation in innovation days & hackathons is considered a plus.Problem solving skills, strong analytical mindset and attention to detailProficiency in Python, Pyspark and SQL.Experience working with big data & ML tools (ML Studio, Databricks ML, Azure Foundry).
