Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Deep Learning Specialist. The specialist will develop, train, and optimize deep learning models tailored to detecting patterns in water system datasets. Responsibilities include processing and analyzing large volumes of sensor data, fine-tuning machine learning pipelines, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance predictive analytics, and developing scalable algorithms for deployment in both cloud and offline environments. Additional duties involve staying updated with advancements in deep learning technologies and applying them to improve system performance. Qualifications Proficiency in developing and training deep learning models using frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorchExpertise in large-scale data processing and analysis, including pre-processing techniques for time-series dataExperience with machine learning pipelines, from model prototyping to deploymentStrong programming skills, particularly in Python, and familiarity with libraries such as NumPy, pandas, and scikit-learnUnderstanding of real-time sensor data analytics and integration in cloud or offline environmentsAbility to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including data scientists and industry expertsExceptional problem-solving skills and ability to innovate within constraintsA degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field; a Master’s or PhD is advantageousFamiliarity with water system processes and challenges in fouling detection is a plus
