As a key member of our pastry department, you will contribute to creating exceptional desserts and pastries that delight our guests and uphold our reputation for culinary excellence.Prepare and produce high-quality pastry items, desserts, and baked goods following standardized recipes and guidelinesDemonstrate creativity in developing new pastry recipes and presentations while maintaining consistency in taste and qualityAssist in organizing and maintaining a clean, efficient, and well-stocked pastry kitchenEnsure compliance with hygiene and safety standards at all timesCollaborate closely with the Pastry Chef and kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of pastry itemsSupport and guide junior team members in pastry preparation techniques and culinary skillsAssist in inventory control, stock rotation, and ordering of pastry ingredients and suppliesConduct regular quality checks on pastry products to uphold our standards of excellenceEnsure compliance with food safety regulations, HACCP standards, and sanitation requirementsQualificationsMinimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in a high-end hotel or restaurantExtensive knowledge of pastry preparation, including breakfast pastries, desserts, breads, ice creams, sorbets, and decorative itemsStrong presentation skills and meticulous attention to detailProficiency in food hygiene practices, HACCP, and ISO standardsExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication skills and proficiency in EnglishCollaborative team player with a customer-focused mindsetFlexibility to work different shifts as requiredFood safety certification (preferred)Additional InformationHotel Overview: Overlooking one of Cairo’s most beautiful Nile views, Nile City Towers complex is a business destination claim to Egypt’s corporate success.
