Procurement OperationsManage procurement of electrical and mechanical spare parts, equipment, and consumables for plant operations.Ensure timely availability of materials to avoid production downtime.Supervise the purchase order cycle from requisition to delivery.2. Strategic Sourcing & Vendor ManagementIdentify, evaluate, and develop local and international suppliers.Lead supplier negotiations to achieve optimal pricing, quality, and delivery terms.Maintain approved vendor lists and conduct periodic supplier performance evaluations.3. Cost Control & OptimizationSupport cost reduction initiatives and value engineering opportunities.Analyze procurement spend and recommend cost-saving strategies.Monitor market trends for electrical & mechanical materials.4. Technical Procurement CoordinationCollaborate closely with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to understand technical requirements.Ensure specification compliance for all purchased materials.Handle procurement of critical plant equipment (e.g., motors, gearboxes, instrumentation, etc.).5. Contract & Compliance ManagementAssist in drafting and managing procurement contracts and agreements.Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations.6. Team Leadership & ReportingSupervise procurement officers and buyers.Prepare procurement reports (KPIs, savings, supplier performance).Act as Procurement Manager delegate when required. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical).7–10 years of procurement experience.Proven experience in industrial or manufacturing sectors (preferably cement or heavy industry).Strong background in electrical & mechanical procurement is mandatory.
