DevSecOps EngineerRole OverviewWe are a global money transfer and remittance fintech looking for a seasoned DevSecOps engineer with at least 3 years of experience to help us secure and improve our platforms and optimize our approach to software delivery across the organization. Our infrastructure is a mixture of AWS, Rackspace and on-premise spanning both Linux and Windows environments. The applications we deploy are mostly a mixture of .Net and Java.ExperienceSecuring and managing a complex, multi-site environment spanning AWS, Rackspace, and on-premise data centers, ensuring seamless integration and consistent security standards across all platforms.Managing and securing Kubernetes environments—specifically EKS—with proficiency in Helm and Kustomize for automated deployment and configuration.Expertise in automating the full environment lifecycle—from provisioning to decommissioning—using Terraform and other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to ensure consistent, repeatable, and secure deployments. Embedding security into the development lifecycle through GitLab CI, including the implementation and management of SAST, Container Scanning, and Dependency Scanning, with a specific focus on SonarQube for continuous code quality and security analysis. Strong technical grasp of Network Security and Firewalls, including the management of Security Groups, VPC configurations, and the implementation of granular access controls via IAM roles and Kubernetes RBAC to enforce strict identity management.Proficient in designing and maintaining comprehensive logging, monitoring, and alerting frameworks using the ELK Stack, Prometheus, and Grafana to ensure proactive threat detection and high system availability.Soft SkillsYou are a dedicated self-starter who isn't afraid to go the extra mile to solve a complex problem, support a colleague, or ensure the success of a critical deployment.You possess the interpersonal skills to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and the flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving fintech environment.You bring a positive, high-energy attitude to the workplace and contribute to a culture of knowledge sharing and mutual support.
