Direct Sales Specialist

Job RoleTo support the growth of direct business by identifying sales opportunities, maintaining strong relationships with clients, and providing efficient customer service while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.AccountabilitiesAssist in generating new direct business opportunities to achieve assigned sales targets.Build and maintain good working relationships with existing and prospective clients.Promote the company’s products and services through regular visits and continuous communication with clients.Support the retention and profitability of existing business by encouraging clients to utilize value-added services.Provide clients with suitable insurance solutions based on their needs and requirements.Deliver a high level of customer service by responding promptly to inquiries and concerns.Maintain and update records and databases related to clients, products, and business activities.Monitor market trends and competitors’ products and share relevant information with management.Ensure compliance with the Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) regulations and internal policies and procedures.Coordinate with underwriting departments to process policy amendments and fulfill client requirements.Support the renewal process in coordination with underwriting departments in accordance with company procedures.Prepare periodic reports and maintain proper documentation related to business activities.QualificationsBachelor's degree from a recognized university.2–5 years of experience, in insurance sales.Insurance Background is a must.Good knowledge of Non Life insurance products and underwriting principles.Good understanding of the insurance market and industry practices.Good computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Good communication and interpersonal skills with strong customer-service orientation.Good negotiation and relationship management skills.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Good reporting and presentation skills.Very good command of written and spoken English.
