With our own production facilities and a robust portfolio of major projects spanning the entire country and extending into international markets, we pride ourselves on delivering top-tier engineering solutions and uninterrupted operational excellence to our clients.Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly accomplished and dynamic Director of Engineering for After Sales Service to lead our service division at MASRIA Group. In this critical leadership role, you will manage a robust team of approximately 30 engineers and technicians. You will oversee everything from initial installation and project handovers to preventive maintenance and rapid-response troubleshooting.Crucially, you will serve as a bridge between the field, our manufacturing factories, and internal departments (Sales and Design) to ensure continuous product improvement and flawless project delivery.Key Responsibilities• Team Leadership: Direct, mentor, and manage a team of ~30 field engineers and technicians deployed across Egypt and international project sites.• Project Handover & Installation: Oversee the successful installation of new equipment and manage the complete project lifecycle from initial testing to final client handover.• Cross-Functional Collaboration:o With Our Factories: Provide direct feedback from the field regarding recurring equipment issues, component durability, and manufacturing adjustments to optimize factory output.o With Design: Collaborate during the pre-installation phase to ensure site readiness designs are flawless, and provide post-installation feedback to improve future equipment layouts.o With Sales: Assist the Sales team by identifying customer expansion opportunities during service visits and ensuring maintenance contracts are aligned with client expectations.• Maintenance Management: Develop, implement, and track rigorous preventive maintenance schedules for new projects and active maintenance contracts.• Rapid Issue Resolution: Act as the ultimate escalation point for complex technical problems, maintaining direct communication with international suppliers to secure critical spare parts efficiently. Requirements & Qualifications• Experience: A minimum of 10 years of solid, hands-on experience specifically within the commercial kitchen and laundry equipment industry.• Leadership & Communication: Proven track record of managing large technical teams and seamlessly coordinating between field services, factories, and commercial corporate divisions.• Language: Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is mandatory for supplier and international client communication.• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Production Engineering.• Mobility: Flexibility to travel to project sites across Egypt, our factories, and occasionally abroad as required.
