Job SummaryThe Draftsman is responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings, layouts, and documentation based on project requirements and engineering specifications. The role involves creating detailed drawings for engineering, installation, and construction purposes while ensuring compliance with company standards, industry regulations, and client requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed technical drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings using CAD software.Develop layouts, plans, elevations, sections, and schematic drawings based on engineering designs.Revise and update drawings according to project changes and client requirements.Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and technical teams to ensure drawing accuracy.Maintain drawing records, revisions, and document control procedures.Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, standards, and regulations.Review design calculations and specifications to support drafting activities.Prepare material take-offs and assist in project documentation when required.Support the project execution team with technical drawing clarifications.Ensure timely completion of drafting tasks according to project schedules.QualificationsDiploma or bachelor's degree, or a related field.Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a Draftsman in construction, manufacturing, system integration, or engineering industries.Experience in preparing shop drawings and technical documentation.Technical SkillsProficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory).Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.Familiarity with drafting standards and engineering principles.Good understanding of materials, dimensions, and production/installation requirements.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.Soft SkillsStrong attention to detail and accuracy.Good communication and coordination skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Strong organizational and time management skills.Problem-solving and analytical thinking.
