The company delivers innovative and sustainable engineering solutions for residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects.Job Title: Mechanical MEP Engineer (Remote)Experience: 5-8 yearsLocation: EgyptJob Type: Full-time - RemoteRole Description:Your role would involve designing, developing, and overseeing the implementation of HVAC, and plumbing systems in various construction projects. You would be responsible for ensuring that these systems meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards, while also optimizing energy efficiency and sustainability. and staying updated with industry trends and advancements.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and analyze HVAC systems, including load calculations, equipment sizing, ductwork design, and ventilation systems.Design mechanical systems for commercial, residential, and industrial facilities in accordance with U.S. standards.Prepare mechanical drawings, layouts, and technical specifications.Perform heating and cooling load calculations using industry-standard software.Select and size mechanical equipment including chillers, AHUs, pumps, boilers, compressors, and exhaust systems.Design plumbing and piping systems, including water supply, drainage, and industrial process piping where applicable.Ensure compliance with applicable U.S. codes such as IMC, ASHRAE standards, NFPA, and IPC.Coordinate with structural, electrical, and architectural teams to ensure proper system integration.Review shop drawings and provide technical support during project execution.Apply value engineering principles to optimize energy efficiency, system performance, and lifecycle costs.Assist in preparing complete mechanical engineering packages and ensuring timely project delivery.Maintain organized documentation and comply with internal QA/QC procedures.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from a governmental (public) university.Strong command of English.2 years of Experience in plumbing, MEP coordination, and building services2 years of experience in AutoCAD.Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and remotelyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of national standards and codesFamiliarity with value engineering and permit process is a plusFamiliarity with American codes and Revit is a plus.Preferred: Current or former university teaching staff member.FE (Passed the fundamentals of Engineering exam) is a preferred requirement.
