Dump Truck OperatorAngloGold Ashanti acquired the Sukari gold mine in Egypt through the acquisition of Centamin plc in November 2024. Sukari is owned in partnership with the Egyptian Government.Sukari is located approximately 750km from Cairo and 25km from Marsa Alam on the Red Sea. First gold was poured in June 2009 and commercial production began in April 2010, making Sukari the first modern gold mine in Egypt, a country which in ancient times was a prolific producer of the precious metal. Sukari conducts both open-pit and underground mining operations, each employing specialized mining methods tailored to the orebody characteristics and operational requirements. The Role The purpose of this role is to operate dump trucks in support of mining operations, perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on the equipment, and ensure all tasks are executed in line with the operational plan while maintaining strict compliance with safety standards and protocols. Location: On-site in Marsa AlamContract Type: Permanent, full-timeSchedule: 20/10 working rosterCompensation: Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package The Key ResponsibilitiesActively promote and adhere to safety standards, procedures, and practices.Conduct pre-start safety checks on equipment before operation.Report equipment faults promptly to the supervisor and dispatch.Operate the dump truck in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Transport ore and waste materials safely to designated stockpiles and dumps.Optimize efficiency by minimizing spotting, maneuvering, dumping, and refueling times.Coordinate with Excavator Operators to ensure trucks are loaded to optimal capacity.Operate modular systems in line with operational standards.Respond promptly to dispatch instructions.Always follow lawful production instructions.The Requirements Educational degree.5+ years in Heavy truck as an OperatorManufacturing, Construction, Mining, Oil and Gas field experienceDrivers Licence for heavy trucks and preferably Dump
