This is a hands-on role requiring strong expertise in Shopify, UX/UI optimization, and the ability to manage remote teams while driving performance and growth.Key ResponsibilitiesE-commerce Operations & Website ManagementManage day-to-day e-commerce operations, including site maintenance, product launches, and promotional campaignsOversee product catalog management, content updates, and overall site functionalityWebsite Merchandising & OptimizationDevelop and execute website merchandising strategies to maximize conversion rates and revenueLeverage tools such as Fast Simon, Bloomreach, or Searchspring for search optimization, personalization, and merchandising automationUX/UI & Conversion Rate OptimizationOptimize user experience (UX) and interface design (UI) through A/B testing, customer research, and data analysisUse tools like Hotjar or Microsoft Clarity to analyze user behavior and identify opportunities for improvementAnalytics & Performance TrackingMonitor site performance metrics using tools like Google AnalyticsImplement data-driven improvements to enhance user experience and drive revenue growthTeam & Project ManagementManage and coordinate a remote team of content and website producersOversee cross-functional projects while maintaining organized workflows and prioritizationTechnical & SEO CollaborationEnsure the website follows SEO best practices and identify opportunities for improvementCollaborate with teams to implement enhancements and improve overall site performanceQualificationsExperience3+ years of experience in e-commerce management or similar rolesProven track record of driving online revenue growth and improving conversion ratesStrong hands-on experience with ShopifySkillsExperience with merchandising tools such as Fast Simon, Bloomreach, or SearchspringStrong understanding of UX/UI principles and e-commerce best practicesProficiency in Google Analytics and data-driven decision-makingKnowledge of HTML/CSS and SEO best practicesFamiliarity with tools like Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, or similar heatmapping toolsExperience with Klaviyo or similar email marketing platforms (nice to have)Highly organized with strong project management skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong analytical mindset with attention to detailCustomer-centric approach with a focus on improving user experienceWhat Success Looks LikeImproved conversion rates and sustained online revenue growthSmooth execution of website updates, product launches, and campaignsOptimized user experience leading to increased engagement and reduced drop-off ratesEfficient management of remote teams and project workflowsConsistent use of data-driven insights to improve website performanceOpportunityThis is a high-impact opportunity to take ownership of a growing e-commerce operation and directly influence both revenue and customer experience.
