The company primarily sells through its direct-to-consumer website, Amazon, and select retail partners, and is focused on improving website performance, conversion rate, and the overall digital customer experience as they continue scaling their online operations.LocationFully Remote | 9 AM - 5 PM ESTRole OverviewThe E-commerce Specialist will own and optimize the company’s e-commerce website, with a strong focus on conversion rate optimization, landing page performance, and day-to-day site execution. This role works closely with the growth marketing team to ensure paid traffic, campaigns, product pages, landing pages, and onsite experiences are aligned and built to convert.This is not a purely executional website maintenance role. The ideal candidate will bring both technical e-commerce expertise and strategic ownership, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement, recommend better workflows and tools, and continuously drive website performance and customer experience improvements.Key ResponsibilitiesWebsite Ownership & Ecommerce ManagementOwn the day-to-day management and optimization of the Shopify website.Ensure product pages, collections, navigation, landing pages, and promotions are accurate, optimized, and aligned with business goals.Manage ongoing site updates, campaign launches, product updates, merchandising changes, and website improvements.Serve as the internal ecommerce expert responsible for maintaining an organized, high-performing, and conversion-focused website.Conversion Rate OptimizationLead ongoing CRO initiatives across the website, including product detail pages, landing pages, checkout flow, offers, upsells, subscriptions, and overall user experience.Identify friction points within the customer journey and recommend actionable improvements.Run, manage, and analyze A/B tests to improve conversion rate, average order value, and overall revenue performance.Use customer behavior and analytics tools to evaluate user interactions and identify optimization opportunities.Landing Pages & Growth Marketing SupportBuild, optimize, and manage landing pages for paid media campaigns across Meta, Google, TikTok, and other channels.Partner closely with the growth marketing team to align landing pages with ad strategy, messaging, creative, and customer intent.Support campaign-specific website initiatives including promotional pages, offer testing, seasonal campaigns, and acquisition funnels.Improve the connection between paid traffic and onsite conversion performance.Tech Stack Evaluation & OptimizationAudit the current ecommerce and website tech stack to identify useful, outdated, redundant, or missing tools.Recommend and implement tools related to CRO, analytics, tracking, subscriptions, reviews, upsells, post-purchase experiences, and user behavior.Work across platforms such as Shopify, Klaviyo, Microsoft Clarity, A/B testing tools, subscription platforms, review tools, upsell tools, and tracking platforms.Stay current on emerging ecommerce and AI-enabled tools that improve execution speed, testing capabilities, and website performance.Reporting & Performance InsightsTrack and report on ecommerce KPIs including conversion rate, revenue, average order value, bounce rate, subscription metrics, landing page performance, and campaign conversion.Translate performance data into clear recommendations for growth and leadership teams.Create a consistent process for reviewing site performance and prioritizing optimization efforts.Help identify which initiatives are driving results and where additional growth opportunities exist.QualificationsExperience3–6+ years of ecommerce management experience, ideally within a direct-to-consumer consumer brand.Strong Shopify experience is required.Experience owning or heavily supporting conversion rate optimization initiatives.Experience working closely with growth marketing teams and paid media landing pages.Experience within health, beauty, personal care, CPG, wellness, or subscription-based ecommerce brands is a plus.SkillsStrong understanding of ecommerce best practices, CRO, UX, merchandising, and funnel optimization.Ability to balance both execution and strategic ownership independently.Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn performance data into actionable recommendations.Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.Comfortable evaluating tools, managing website updates, and communicating with developers or external vendors when needed.AI-native mindset with curiosity around leveraging AI tools to improve testing, workflows, execution speed, and ecommerce performance.What Success Looks LikeClear ownership of the ecommerce website and day-to-day site performance.Improved conversion rate through ongoing testing, optimization, and data-driven decision-making.Stronger alignment between paid traffic, landing pages, and onsite customer experience.A streamlined and effective ecommerce tech stack that supports scalable growth.Faster execution of landing pages, campaigns, promotions, and website improvements.Leadership and growth teams have a reliable ecommerce owner capable of making recommendations, executing initiatives, and driving measurable business results.OpportunityThis is an exciting opportunity to join a growing consumer brand with strong direct-to-consumer traction and national retail presence.
