This role includes managing product listings, pricing, promotions, and inventory accuracy across ecommerce platforms. The Ecommerce Manager will analyze sales performance, user behavior, and campaign results to optimize conversion rates and revenue. Daily tasks involve coordinating with marketing and sales teams on digital campaigns, ensuring a seamless customer journey, and maintaining high standards for content, merchandising, and customer service. The role also includes monitoring competitors, identifying new opportunities, and preparing regular performance reports for management.Key ResponsibilitiesE-Commerce StrategyDevelop and execute the E-Commerce strategy in alignment with business objectives.Define sales targets, KPIs, budgets, and growth plans.Monitor market trends, competitors, pricing, and customer behaviour.Identify new digital revenue opportunities.Website & Product ManagementManage the E-Commerce website and overall customer journey.Ensure accurate product information, pricing, availability, promotions, and merchandising.Optimize product categories, search, navigation, and conversion funnels.Work closely with the technology team on website improvements and new features.Sales & PerformanceOwn online sales performance and revenue targets.Monitor key metrics including Conversion Rate, AOV, CAC, ROAS, Revenue, Gross Margin, and Retention.Analyze sales performance and develop corrective actions.Continuously optimize the conversion funnel.Marketing & Customer AcquisitionCoordinate with the Marketing team on Google, Meta, SEO, CRM, and other acquisition channels.Develop promotional campaigns and commercial calendars.Analyze campaign performance and ensure marketing spend contributes to profitable growth.OperationsCoordinate the complete order lifecycle from order placement to delivery/installation.Work closely with ERP, Finance, Customer Service, and Operations teams.Identify operational bottlenecks and improve order fulfilment.Establish and monitor E-Commerce SOPs.Customer ExperienceImprove the customer journey from product discovery to post-purchase.Monitor customer complaints, returns, cancellations, and reviews.Develop initiatives to increase customer satisfaction and repeat purchases.Analytics & ReportingPrepare weekly and monthly E-Commerce performance reports.Build dashboards and provide management with actionable insights.Use data to identify opportunities, problems, and growth areas.Qualifications4–7 years of experience in E-Commerce, Digital Commerce, Online Retail, or a related field.Proven experience managing an E-Commerce website and achieving measurable sales growth.Strong understanding of the complete E-Commerce lifecycle.Experience with ERP, CRM, payment gateways, inventory, and delivery/fulfillment systems.Strong knowledge of Google Analytics / GA4 and digital performance metrics.Good understanding of SEO, Google Ads, Meta Ads, CRM, and conversion optimization.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.Ability to work cross-functionally with Marketing, Technology, Finance, Warehouse, Operations, and Customer Service.Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills.Experience in Automotive, Tires, Spare Parts, Retail, or Marketplace businesses is a strong advantage. We would especially value someone who has:Launched an E-Commerce business or website from the ground up.Managed an online product catalogue with a large number of SKUs.Worked with ERP–E-Commerce integrations.Experience with inventory synchronisation and order management.Experience in automotive E-Commerce or tire retail.A strong commercial mindset — not just an operational mindset.
